Hi. I’m due May 2nd. Are the Jan-Feb classes good timing for me or should I wait for a Feb-March class and if so when will that schedule be up?

2 Launi November 30, 2011 at 12:01 pm

I would suggest the earlier class–which will give you plenty of time to practice. Either way, you should be fine. I’m working on the schedule this very minute so it should be updated sometime today.

I want to take the class that starts on February 25 but I can’t figure out how to register for it. Do I just need to wait for awhile?
Thanks,
Leesa

My husband and I had signed up for your January 7th class but now have a conflict on one of the Saturdays. Is it ok if we cancel going to that one and sign up for the February/March Saturday classes?

6 Launi January 15, 2012 at 8:34 am

Yes, of course! Just sign up again for the class you’d like, or let me know which one and I’ll move you guys over. Either way…

Hello!

I want to do a natural birth – and as I have been perusing through your website and blog, I feel really good about this – even though I know I fear pain more than anything, but I know I can learn to work through that with something like this. I am due May 22. Would you suggest me taking the earlier February – March class, or the later February – March class?

8 Launi January 17, 2012 at 9:46 pm

Hi Emily,

I’d suggest taking the earlier class so that you have plenty of time to learn the techniques and practice them. This class will really help with your fears as well and you’re right, you will be able to work through them. We’ll help you with that—it’s what we do. :} Let me know if you’d like to sign up and for which class and I’ll get you on the books.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Launi,
I took your class almost 2 years ago exactly. I am now pregnant with #2 and was wondering if you still allow past class participants to attend classes for free? I am due in May and very excited to renew all this information. Please let me know… THANKS!!

How do I get ahold of someone to talk about these classes?

I’ll email you. :}

Hi I registered for the Saturday morning classes beginning April 7th but I have a few questions. Could you please email me at sweetscorpion at gmail dot com so I can make sure I have everything ready to go? Thank you so much!
Melissa

I’d like to sign up for your next course, but I will be out of town on April 25th. Could I make up that class on May 19th?

14 Launi April 21, 2012 at 1:31 pm

Absolutely–we have couples mix and match all the time. :}

15 Carley April 29, 2012 at 11:13 pm

Hi. I am not due till December but I was wondering if you had a schedule for around that time. I was also wondering if we decided to take your class, I have that book mentioned from a previous pregnancy would that take off the listed price?
Thanks,
Carley

16 Launi May 1, 2012 at 10:41 am

Hi Carley,

I have the class schedule tentatively made out up until September. You are welcome to sign up for classes anytime in your pregnancy–as early as you’d like. That gives you plenty of time to practice. But for now, it looks like the two series furthest out will begin:

Saturday August 11, 2012
and
Wednesday August 29, 2012

Also, if you already have the text book then you are welcome to take $15 off the course fee of $175. So it would be $160.

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in early November and we were just wondering if we should take classes now or if we should wait till later in our pregnancy? (I’m currently 16 weeks along) Thank you.

18 Launi May 30, 2012 at 11:42 am

Hi Jessica,

I always tell people that the best time to take the classes is when you are interested in the subject. It never hurts to have more time to practice the techniques and learn the material–so that it all becomes instinctive to you and your husband. Then, when your due time is closer, if you’d like to come to a refresher–you are always welcome back–even for future babies at no charge. Hope this helps~

Hi, I was just wondering when the next Saturday morning classes would be after the June 30th one? And the classes are meant for both husband and wife? Thanks

20 Launi May 31, 2012 at 4:24 pm

The next Saturday classes–after June 30th–are scheduled to begin on August 11th at 10:00am. And yes–absolutely the classes are geared for mom and her partner.

Hello,

We took your class in 2010 and we are pregnant again. We’d love to attend the class again and we have some questions regarding some friends who also are interested in taking the class. Could you email me?

22 Kirsten July 9, 2012 at 10:42 am

I am due at the end of Dec 2012 and my husband & I would like to take your classes in August but two of the Saturdays we can’t do. would you suggest we just wait until the next set of times comes up? Do we need to take the classes in order? Because if we were to mix and match with the Wednesday classes it seems like we would go to class 3 before we go to class 2 on Saturdays. What do you suggest we do? When are your next set of classes going to held. Thanks so much!

23 Launi August 17, 2012 at 12:00 pm

We’ll make sure it all works out. You are always welcome to take the classes that best match your schedule. I’ll email you privately. :}

24 Cherie August 13, 2012 at 6:53 pm

I’m due the end of December. I’m looking to take a birthing class, however I’d like to research several options and make an educated decision. I’d also like to take the class relatively soon. I’m wondering if your classes “fill up” and I need to get registered far in advance, or if you usually have/ can make room in the class. I do have a couple of other questions for you as well, so if you have time and could email me that would be fantastic!
Thanks.

25 Launi August 17, 2012 at 11:56 am

HI Cherie,

You can register for my classes anytime–in fact, I have plenty of walk-ins. So whenever you decide to sign up is fine, and all the questions you may have in the meantime are great too. Let me know what I can answer for you. :}

Thanks,

Launi
